Refund policy
RETURN, REFUND AND SHIPPING POLICY
We hope all Happy Bulge Swim Co. customers are pleased with their purchases, however we understand sometimes issues can arise where orders might need extra attention. There are also exceptions and exclusions for product collections as outlined below.
TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE MERCHANDISE:
Please contact us by emailing shop@happybulge.com. Social media correspondence may not be accepted to facilitate return and/or exchange.
Sometimes, tracking numbers aren't available for shipments. Orders are typically shipped within 48 hours of being received. Happy Bulge Swim Co. shipments are through standard USPS or Canada Post mail, unless otherwise specifically requested by customers at the time of ordering. Expedited shipping is available at a cost to the customer. Please contact us prior to placing an order that requires faster shipping.
ORDERS NOT RECEIVED:

When shipping, we document (in photographic images) the actual shipment and copy of the post office receipt for verification purposes when tracking information is unavailable.
When tracking is available, shipments logged as "delivered" by their receiving local/regional/national postal service are considered complete. We are not responsible for replacing or refunding any missing or stolen mail as it is the responsibility of the recipient (be it homeowner, tenant, etc.) to ensure their mailbox is secured to prevent theft. As our shipments are sent through standard postal mail, they are delivered to postal-service-recognized delivery points (example: mailbox) and are not subject to "porch pirates" on front stairs, for instance, therefore refunds are not provided when a postal authority has logged delivery confirmation.
Additionally, as we have no control over postal delivery services, we are in no way responsible for the condition of your delivery as we cannot independently confirm customer claims. Initiating disputes arising from damaged and/or missing items is initially the responsibility of the customer with the respective postal service(s). After confirmation is submitted to us that all relevant resources have been exhausted (ie. the local post office confirms items were not located on its property following a requested search; or a written response from a postal service deferring to our company after an initial escalation) to no avail, we may proceed with an insurance claim on your behalf through the postal service. Processing time frames can vary and we make no guarantee refunds will be issued as the investigation's findings prevail. In short: if USPS denies the claim and refuses to pay insurance, no customer refund is issued. It's recommended you provide full and detailed information when initiating any type of claim against a federal agency. (As noted above: we have photographic evidence of your order at the time of processing and can provide such details to customers upon request to assist with a claim.)
In instances where a public address is used (workplace, general delivery address of a building, etc.) and the recipient is not the only one with access to shipments, we are not responsible when the local postal service marks orders as "successfully delivered" to areas such as front desk, reception, mailroom and the like. It is the responsibility of the customer to communicate with their counterparts to ensure reception of mail.
Customers should contact Happy Bulge Swim Co. within 45 days of their initial shipment notification for shipments within North America, and within 60 days of their initial shipment notification email for shipments outside of North America. We understand that from time to time there might be delays with shipping companies (such as coronavirus shutdowns and USPS business uncertainty) and we do our best to provide customers as much information about the shipment as possible. By contacting us within the outlined timeframes, we can facilitate re-delivery of an order, or where items are out of stock (seasonal products are not necessarily available year-round) provide an alternate product at the customer's request, or provide a refund at our discretion. Failure to contact Happy Bulge Swim Co. within the outlined timeframes could forfeit a refund and additional support on a particular order.
In the event of undeliverable shipments ("return to sender"), customers will be charged a second shipping fee to have the order re-sent to the address initially provided or to an alternate address. Or, customers are entitled to store credit for the amount of the order, less original shipping costs. Refunds are not provided for orders returned to Happy Bulge Swim Co. by the post office when mail is classified undeliverable due to customer error/oversight or failure to pick up.
WARRANTY
All Happy Bulge Swim Co. suits are warranted against all manufacturing defects for 30 days from purchase date. We will replace it as needed, if available. NOTE: All orders are inspected and photographed before shipping to ensure quality assurance. We log images of all orders prior to and at shipping.
EXCHANGES AND RETURNÂ
Returns are subject to US$5-per-item restocking fee. This amount is deducted from refund balances owing on the respective order. At our discretion, the restocking fee may be waived (for instance, in an equal exchange of items).
CLOTHING: You may return new, unused clothing pieces within 30 days for a full refund, exchange or credit once item(s) have been received and pass quality inspection. Items received after 30 days will be eligible for exchange or store credit only (no refund).
It is the responsibility of customers to ensure correct sizing is ordered. Each individual clothing product page indicates the measurements of the various sizes. Sizing can vary depending on the supplier. Incorrectly sized items can be returned at the customer's expense.
FACE MASKS: We cannot accept exchanges or returns for face mask products. These items are final sale.
SEASONAL (Halloween): Product exchanges, returns/refunds accepted until Oct. 24. Shoppers should be mindful of shipping times to avoid late arrival of orders prior to holiday seasons.
CLEARANCE: Products listed as CLEARANCE are final sale and not subject to warranty, refund or credit at any time. CLEARANCE items are never returnable.
(March 2025) TARIFFS: Oh, tariffs. Businesses are not responsible for any charges associated with mail shipments arriving into other countries. As such, mail recipients are liable for any taxes, duties, surcharges, tariffs and the like when receiving deliveries from outside their respective country. Our items ship from Canada. We have no control over policies set by an unhinged world leader looking to destroy his economy and the happiness of its people. Additionally, mail processing times can vary wildly -- specifically to the United States -- with delays in customs processing and subsequent delivery by the federal postal service. Please direct any impatience and rage to said departments and respective elected officials.Â
PLEASE NOTE: ALL PRODUCTS MUST BE RETURNED IN THEIR ORIGINAL CONDITION, UNWORN AND UNWASHED WITH A COPY OF THE RECEIPT AND THE REASON FOR RETURN INCLUDED.
RETURN SHIPPING CHARGES ARE ALWAYS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER.Â
If you would like to return merchandise, please contact us for the mailing address. Upon receipt and inspection of your package, we will exchange or refund your purchase.Â
Happy Bulge Swim Co. will refund the full price of your order less shipping costs.
